Yiwise, an AI company specializing in NLP (Natural Language Processing) human-computer interaction, recently harvested hundreds of millions of CNY from its Series B funding round. The company aims to help firms reach customers and realize refined intelligent operations with advanced voice and speech recognition technologies.
Recently, Yiwise (Chinese:一知智能) completed its Series B funding round with hundreds of millions of CNY, with participation from Kaitai Capital, Yealink Kaitai Investment, and CITIC Securities.
The financing will be used for algorithm development, product upgrade, team building, and operation expansion.
The founding team of Yiwise stated that over the past five years, with its advanced AI technology, Yiwise has facilitated companies’ digital productivity, deeply served the needs of core industry scenarios, and empowered companies’ intelligent operations.
Founded in 2017, Yiwise focuses on voice-based human-computer interaction technologies and has grown into a SaaS provider that helps firms reach customers and realize refined intelligent operations. The founding team is from the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Zhejiang University.
In February 2019, Yiwise established a joint Artificial Intelligence Research Center with Zhejiang University to further develop the industry-university-research collaboration in the field. Yiwise also cooperates with Huawei, Microsoft Research Asia, Alibaba DAMO Academy, and many other leading companies to promote the R&D and engineering applications of voice and speech recognition technologies.
Up to now, Yiwise has operated in more than 20 provinces and municipalities, serving over 300 top consumer brands and over 100 public security bureaus.
Its competitors include Huisheng Network Technology (Chinese: 绘声网络), 94 AI (Chinese: 九四智能), Convin, and VoiceSell.
