Established in 2017, SDSX aims to become a leading provider of Radio Frequency solutions with high-performance, low-power, highly reliable and cost-effective products.
Lately, SDSX (Chinese: 时代速信), a semiconductor designer and solution provider, bagged tens of millions of CNY in Series B+ funding round, led by Guangxi Investment Group (Chinese: 广西投资集团), with participation from Shanjin Capital(Chinese: 善金资本).
The proceeds will be used in the R&D and upgrades of technologies, fortifying SDSX’s technological advantages in the 2nd and 3rd generations of semiconductor RF chips and power chips.
Amid the development of 5G and 6G mobile communication networks, SDSX focuses on the research and development of second-generation (GaAs) and third-generation (GaN) semiconductor chips, dedicated to the design, development, production and sales of integrated circuits, RF chips, multifunctional chips, and application solutions.
SDSX has set up two R&D centers in Shenzhen and Chengdu, and four regional sales centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and Xi'an.
Currently, the company's three major product lines and five categories have met the full-frequency needs of various base stations, terminal equipment, the Internet of Things, automotive electronics and other applications.
The core products developed by the company, such as RF PA and LNA, have performed well in the tests of communication equipment manufacturers, with some performance indicators exceeding those of international giants.
Its competitors include Sunway Communication (Chinese:信维通信), CHAHO (Chinese:畅恒通信), and Archiwave (Chinese:安其威).
