Digital 3D printing solution provider Prismlab (Chinese: 普利生) announced the completion of a Series C round of financing worth CNY200 million (USD29.18 million). This financing round was led by Qiming Venture Partners (Chinese: 启明创投), followed by the existing shareholders BASF Venture Capital (Chinese: 巴斯夫创投) and Jolmo Investment Management (Chinese: 金雨茂物), and InvesTarget (Chinese: 多维资本) served as the exclusive financial advisor.

The funds will be mainly used to further expand the company's domestic and overseas business, including upgrading and iterating existing product lines, expanding the plant, introducing micro nano 3D printing-related talents and developing new technology.

Based on its 3D printing equipment, Prismlab has launched a solution set for clear aligners, covering the whole industrial chain of invisible orthodontics from 3D printing and orthodontic membrane materials to automatic film pressing and cutting. Prismlab exceeds 60% solution set market share.

Prismlab is currently focusing on the market application of digital technologies available for dentistry. As a highly customized industry, 3D printing has a particular resonance with dentistry in the process of digital transformation. By building a system of digital platform + 3D printing + high-performance materials, Prismlab has developed the application of the closed loop ecological framework in digital dentistry.
