Leapmotor’s entrance into the Israeli market by its first batch of T03 models is an important milestone for its move in marching into the European market.
On September 8, Chinese fast-growing intelligent auto manufacturer Leapmotor (Chinese: 零跑汽车) announced that the first batch of its T03 models had been shipped out to Israel, partnered with a local leading Israeli auto company.
Last year, Zhu Jiangming, founder and CEO of Leapmotor, spoke to the public at Leapmotor 2.0 strategy conference. He stated that Leapmotor would enter overseas markets in 2022. At that time, Leapmotor had already started the EU access certification process for their T03 vehicles.
Founded in 2015, the privately-owned automaker Leapmotor is now a leading intelligent vehicle manufacturer in China. It owns a series of popular models, including C01, C11, T03, and S01. The company's business scope covers smarter design, R&D, intelligent driving systems, battery systems, and cloud computing-based vehicle networking solutions.
The Leapmotor’s T03 has passed the EU’s Whole Vehicle Type Approval certification and obtained the sales permit for the European market, which means the Leapmotor’s T03 models can be officially licensed and registered in all EU countries.
Leapmotor pursues the brand's ongoing high standards and requirements, especially in R&D technology, manufacturing process, and product quality. And also, these practices lay a solid foundation to lay out their overseas expansion plan.
