Dream Glass(Chinese:融梦智能科技), an AR company, bagged tens of millions of CNY from pre-series A funding round, led by Inkeverse.
Dream Glass was founded in Silicon Valley in 2016 by a group of AR enthusiasts with over 20 years of optics and computer-vision experience.
The money will be used for mass production and promotion of new products, team building, and content layout of the metaverse.
Zhong Zhangyi, the founder of Dream Glass, said that the competitive advantage of Dream Glass lies in the micron level high precision optical molds designed and produced by the company, which can be applied to the mature injection molding process, so the cost of optical engine produced is lower than that of products with similar properties in the market. In addition, it also has the advantage of an ultra-high-definition display and a large field-of-view angle.
