YAHAHA, a metaverse User Generated Content(UGC) platform, completed Series A+ financing round worth USD 40 million, led by Temasek and Alibaba group.

YAHAHA(Chinese:悉喵科技), a metaverse User Generated Content(UGC) platform, completed Series A+ financing round worth USD 40 million, led by Temasek and Alibaba group, with participation by 37 Interactive Entertainment.

The money will help YAHAHA team recruit top talent in the gaming industry and further expand its business footprint in North America and Asia Pacific. In the meantime, it will continue to support its more than 100,000 creator base through a diverse mix of studio collaborations, accelerators, global events, and Game Jams.

Founded in 2020, YAHAHA has received nearly USD 100 million in financing round. YAHAHA's 3D content creation tools can help every creative creator create their games and social spaces. YAHAHA's code-free authoring tool allows creators to develop a game with a simple drag and drop, and it's highly scalable and limited for users with different creative abilities.

Chris, founder &CEO of YAHAHA, said that YAHAHA's vision is not limited to leading the next generation of content entertainment, but to help the next generation of creators create their quality content through the Integrated Virtual World Platform (IVWP) and tools.

YAHAHA launched an Alpha test version of its product in April 2022. By October, it had attracted more than 100,000 users to register and experience the product. YAHAHA has planned to cooperate with several well-known brands to create relevant content on the platform based on the brand to reach a more diversified user base.

YAHAHA 's international competitors include Decentraland(Argentina) and Gala Games(US), and domestic ones include BUD (Chinese:零点一娱乐科技), KUNLUN(Chinese:昆仑万维), and Burning Galaxy (Chinese:博宇盖乐).
