Recently, unmanned harbor transport solution provider SENIOR closed its A+ round financing exceeding CNY 100 Mn, which was expected to be used for product R&D.
On November 14, Beijing SENIOR Technology Co., LTD (hereinafter referred to as SENIOR) (Chinese: 斯年智驾) announced the completion of its A+ round financing worth more than CNY 100 million (USD 14 million), which was led by Tsinghua Innovation Ventures (Chinese: 水木创投) and Winreal Investment (Chinese: 容亿投资), followed by Estar Capital (Chinese: 辰韬资本), GF Xinde Investment (Chinese: 广发信德), Shenzhen Zhiqing Corporation (Chinese: 智氢实业) and Hubin Capital (Chinese: 湖滨资本). CVCapital (Chinese: 投中资本) served as the exclusive financial advisor. The fund will be used for product R&D, promoting the application of autonomous driving in harbor scenarios.
SENIOR, founded in 2020 and based in Beijing, is an autonomous driving solution provider focusing on heavy truck transportation in the harbor scenario, including transportation in port, hub to hub and between ports. The company has two research centers in Beijing and Shanghai, respectively, responsible for autonomous driving algorithm research and development. Currently, it has an intelligent driving team of 150, 110 of whom are R&D personnel. Additionally, the core members, with more than 10 years of R&D experience in the autonomous driving industry, are the first group of practitioners in the field of logistics and transportation in China.
After this round of financing, SENIOR acquired support from capital and industry. In the future, SENIOR will increase investment in research, accelerating its commercialization in the harbor and other scenarios.
