Higher precision, lighter body.

3d camera

Recently, industrial robot 3D vision manufacturer Alsontech (Chinese: 埃尔森智能科技) launched its new AT-S1000-06C-S3 3D vision camera. As a member of the NANO series, the AT-S1000-06C-S3 has a lightweight body and Alsontech’s mature binocular imaging technology, providing reliable accuracy and operational stability for industrial automation users.

Established in 2014, Alsontech currently has more than 100 employees. The company has more than 70 mature R&D engineers in professional fields such as 3D vision, image algorithm, Al algorithm, optics, robot motion algorithm, etc., and has dozens of professional technical service support personnel. It has established Zhengzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing and other regional service centers to quickly respond to user service needs. 3D vision products have been sold to Taiwan and exported to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany and other overseas regions. The products have obtained CE safety certification and passed ISO9001, ISO14001 and other standard system certifications.

Alsontech 3D cameras have a complete "3D binocular structured light imaging technology", with the optimal baseline ratio design, built-in high-quality optical components, ensuring the imaging accuracy of the 3D camera at the millimeter level or below. Alsontech have completed the delivery of thousands of binocular products and on-site continuous operation verification, and their products are known for their stable performance, accurate positioning, and low failure rate. High performance and low error rate guarantees a continuous operation in a closed space, thereby reducing the maintenance costs.

Starting from hardware design, optical design, and circuit design, Alsontech achieved an average weight reduction of 30% and an average size reduction of 40% for the NANO series 3D cameras (based on the previous generation of small-sized binocular cameras). It provides a more abundant load margin and a looser installation space for the end effector for the robotic arm, especially the lightweight robotic arm represented by the collaborative robot. And it can guide the light-duty robotic arm into more cramped and narrow spaces for precision processing such as assembly, gluing, welding, etc., and further expand the use space of the robot.
