More localized, more cost-effective and better service ability are the key factors that make Zhichi Technologies stand head and shoulders above other competitors in China.
Zhichi Technologies (Chinese: 智齿科技), a Beijing-based customer service software provider, held a media conference on February 28 with the theme of “Be the navigator, Connecting the world”. Several representatives from the media focused on Chinese brands going overseas and the to-B press participated in the meeting.
Yi Xu, co-founder and CEO of Zhichi Technologies, shared the company’s achievements in globalization for the first time.
Since the end of 2021, when the company made globalization its core strategy, Zhichi Technologies has already built an international ecological roadmap and has achieved massive success on several key aspects such as organizational structure, infrastructure, product solutions, ecological cooperation, and service practice.
“In 2022, the revenue from our overseas business accounts for about 10%,” said Mr. Xu at the conference, “and we are confident to make this figure three times larger in three years.”
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Beijing, Zhichi Technologies positioned itself as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, whose key offering is in-house developed customer contact solutions. By integrating the most advanced AI and big data technologies, as well as its deep understanding of the problems faced by enterprises in the process of going abroad, Zhichi Technology has launched the "Global Customer Contact Center Solution” covering marketing, operation and service to help clients from customer acquisition, operation to the after-market service. According to the official website, the company’s main products include Chatbot, Call Center, Live Chat, Ticketing System, Mail Support and software like WhatsApp SCRM, which is designed for overseas sales and marketing business.
Up to now, Zhichi Technologies has established cooperation with more than 50 companies worldwide, including OPPO, TINECO, HP, DFS, Blued and African-specialized mobile banking servicer OPay, and has garnered wide recognization in the industry.
Given the rapid development of Southeast Asia, along with positive policy support and the relatively low threshold to entry, Zhichi Technologies first started the pilot in this market and established a subsidiary in Singapore, the so-called “paradise for entrepreneurship”. The company added that it will gradually expand its reach into Europe and North America once the products and services abilities get market validation.
Zhichi Technologies has closed seven rounds of funding since its inception, snagging a total of approximately USD 132.5 million from a bunch of notable venture capital firms. They include early-stage venture investor GL Ventures, Yunqi Partners, IDG Capital, ZhenFund and public listed enterprises service provider Yonyou Network Technology (SH: 600588).
