On May 25th, it was reported that HiTHIUM (Chinese: 海辰储能) has supported the successful implementation of the China Resources Power Xuan Cheng Yuan Wang Integrated Energy Storage Demonstration Project (Chinese: 华润电力鄄城源网储示范项目).

Wang Pengcheng, Co-founder and General Manager of HiTHIUM, stated that as the core supplier of project equipment, HiTHIUM has worked hand in hand with all parties to contribute to the smooth construction and grid connection of the demonstration project. HiTHIUM will deepen cooperation with all parties and contribute to the adjustment of energy structure, the deepening of the conversion of old and new energy sources, and the promotion of green, low-carbon, and high-quality development in Shandong Province.

The demonstration project is invested and constructed by China Resources Power, with XJ Group Corporation (Chinese: 许继集) providing a complete set of product solutions and HiTHIUM providing advanced energy storage battery cluster products. The project is located in Xuan Cheng County, Heze (Chinese: 菏泽) City, and it is the first commercial centralized shared energy storage power station in Heze City. After being put into operation, it can further enhance the flexibility of the local power system, effectively participate in peak load and frequency regulation of the power grid, promote the balance of power supply and demand, contribute to the improvement of the local grid's capacity to integrate new energy sources and ensure the secure and stable operation of the grid. At the same time, it also accumulates experience for the construction of subsequent centralized energy storage projects in the region.

Established in 2019 in Xiamen, HiTHIUM specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of lithium battery core materials, lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries, and systems. It has over 800 research and development personnel and holds more than 1,600 technical intellectual property rights. The company has obtained certifications for intellectual property management, IATF16949, and ISO9001. It has planned three major bases covering an area of 2,100 acres with a total investment of approximately 30 billion yuan. Once completed, the annual production capacity will exceed 135 GWh.
