Syrius is the first brand in China to focus on AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) hardware, software and supporting cloud services. It is committed to promoting the digital and intelligent transformation of logistics with low threshold and high flexibility, innovating productivity from both "physical" and "mental" aspects. Syrius' logistics solutions have been implemented in the warehousing sector, serving world-class retail e-commerce and logistics groups. In 2020, the company was certified as a national high-tech enterprise.
According to the data, the global logistics robot industry market size will reach USD 5 billion in 2021, up 56.3% YOY. With the development of technology and the increase in demand, the development and application of logistics robots are gradually emphasized globally, and the scale of China's logistics robot industry is also overgrowing. In 2021 China's logistics robot industry market size reached CNY 12.6 billion, an increase of 63.6% YOY.
After this round of financing, Syrius will land a 50,000-unit capacity-level intelligent robot production base in Tongling Economic and Technological Development Zone, including a smart robot assembly center, a precision machining center, an intellectual robot testing center, a warehouse for raw materials and finished products, a comprehensive factory office building, and an intelligent distribution and material management system.
According to Syrius, one of the highlights of the new intelligent robot manufacturing base is the application of AMR autonomous mobile robot technology to the entire process from raw material infeed, storage preparation, line side batching, product transfer and product discharge in the industrial handling scenario, forming a solution with Syrius characteristics and empowering intelligent manufacturing factories nationwide and globally.
On the international front, Syrius Singapore was officially established in early May. The company's founder, chairman and CEO, Chao Jiang, said that the company will provide more detailed and personalized solutions for customers with AMR autonomous mobile robot hardware and software solutions that focus on the industry characteristics of different countries and regions. The company will continue to penetrate Southeast Asia and the global market with its Singapore company as a window in the overseas market strategy of "localization to support internationalization".
This round of financing was led by Anhui Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Fund (Chinese: 安徽省产业转型升级基金), co-led by Tongling State-owned Capital (Chinese: 铜陵国控) and Tongling Dajiang Investment (Chinese: 铜陵大江), this is the first time Syrius has received a capital injection from state-owned capital. Proceeds from the financing will be used to build a 50,000-unit capacity-level intelligent robot production base, further enhance the capabilities of AMR robot hardware and software solutions for smart logistics, smart factories, commercial cleaning and other scenarios, and accelerate the globalization of the business.
