  • Chargepoint - One of the largest and oldest EV charging network companies, founded in 2007 and headquartered in California. ChargePoint operates over 115,000 charging spots worldwide and recently raised $239 million in funding to accelerate its growth.

  • ABB - A global technology leader focusing on electrification, automation and robotics. ABB provides a comprehensive portfolio of EV charging technologies and solutions, from basic AC wall boxes to DC fast chargers. ABB secured $11.5 billion in orders during the first quarter of 2022.

  • Webasto - A leading German automotive technology company focusing on roof and heating systems, as well as lithium-ion batteries and charging solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles. Webasto has installed over 50,000 charging points across Europe and raised €500 million in funding in 2021.

  • Schneider Electric - A global specialist in energy management and automation with offerings across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Schneider Electric provides a full suite of electric vehicle charging solutions, from AC and DC chargers to hardware and software for charging management.

In addition, BYD provides both AC and DC charging stations and has installed over 300,000 charging piles within China.

  • TGood - A Chinese startup specializing in DC fast charging equipment and solutions. Founded in 2018, TGood currently operates over 11,000 fast chargers across China serving customers like Nio, Xpeng, and Li Auto. The company recently received $150 million in an A+ funding round to ramp up production.

  • Star Charge - A young Chinese startup focused on developing ultra-fast charging solutions. Founded in 2018, Star Charge claims to have developed the world's fastest charging technology capable of 500 kW charging power. The company recently raised $50 million in a funding round to support mass production.

  • Efacec - A Portuguese technology company with over 100 years of history focusing on energy, mobility, and industry. Efacec provides a comprehensive EV charging portfolio that includes AC and DC chargers, smart charging software, and complete charging networks and infrastructures.

  • Shell - An Anglo-Dutch multinational oil and gas company integrating both upstream (exploration and production) and downstream operations (refining, distribution, and retail). Shell has installed over 60,000 EV charging points globally and aims to expand to 500,000 chargers by 2025.

  • Alpitronic - An Italian company offering a wide range of AC and DC charging solutions up to 350 kW for passenger EVs, buses, trucks, and forklifts. Electronic recently launched its first high-power charging station with a charging power of up to 450 kW.

  • YKC - YKC was founded in 2016. It is a Leading EV Charging Network and Energy Management Service Provider in China. As China's leading third-party EV charging platform, YKC helps customers manage the EV charging stations, energy storage equipment, solar photovoltaic power generators, etc., and charging site equipment.
