Anker Reports First Half of 2023 Financial Report

On August 29th, Anker, a cross-and-border benchmark company, released the 2023 semi-annual report, maintaining overall growth momentum.

According to the report, Anker achieved a revenue of CNY 7.066 billion in the first half of 2023, a 20% increase compared to the same period last year when it was CNY 5.887 billion. It recorded a net profit attributable to the parent company of CNY 820 million, a 42.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

In terms of expanding sales channels, Amazon remains the primary sales platform for Anker, with revenues of CNY 3.948 billion, showing relatively stable income compared to the previous year. However, Anker's six independent brands (Anker/eufy/soundcore/Nebula/AnkerMake/AnkerWork) generated revenue CNY of 4.56 billion, marking a significant growth of 112.59% year-on-year. This achievement signifies a substantial breakthrough and further reinforces Anker's growing brand influence.

At the same time, Anker is vigorously expanding its offline channels. It has not only entered globally renowned chain supermarkets and retailers in the North American region, such as Walmart, Best Buy, TGT, and Costco but also joined hands with Japan's retail giant 7-Eleven. Progress has also been made in offline expansion in countries and regions including Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, and South America. In the first half of this year, its offline channel revenue reached CNY 2.206 billion, accounting for 31.22% of the company's total revenue, and showing a year-on-year growth of 5.06%.

In terms of the proportion of global market revenue, although the proportion of revenue from the North American market has decreased slightly compared to the overall business income, it still remains Anker's largest market, accounting for 46.55% of the market share. Mainland China and the Japanese market both achieved strong year-on-year growth, with growth rates reaching 31.05% and 36.39%.

In terms of product structure, Anker's products are primarily categorized into three main types: charging products, smart innovation products, and wireless audio products.

Charging products achieved revenue of CNY 3.483 billion, with a year-on-year revenue growth of 18.29%, accounting for 49.3% of total revenue. Charging products were one of the earliest product categories introduced by the company and continue to be a major source of the company's product sales revenue, as well as a key area of focus for the company.

Smart innovation products generated revenue of CNY 1.95 billion, with a year-on-year growth of 16.66%, accounting for 27.54% of total revenue. The newly launched high-end robotic vacuum cleaner, eufy Clean X9 Pro, played a significant role in driving sales growth.

Wireless audio revenue amounted to CNY 1.56 billion, marking a substantial year-on-year growth of 29.11% and accounting for 22.12% of total revenue. Products in this category mainly include a series of wireless Bluetooth headphones and wireless Bluetooth speakers under the 'soundcore' brand.

Anker stated that, in the future, they will continue to focus on strategic product categories, breakthrough industry common key technologies, and create a series of market-competitive product matrices.
