Meitu Subsidiary Pixocial Completed A Round of Financing of USD 22 Million

Recently, Pixocial, a subsidiary of Meitu Inc.(美图公司), completed a round of financing of USD 22 million.

Pixocial is a wholly owned subsidiary of Meitu and the world's leading AI digital content design productivity tool platform. Pixocial inherits Meitu's aesthetics, product and technology capabilities, focuses on AI and digital content design and creation, and provides comprehensive, efficient, and easy-to-use digital content creation tools for users around the world. 

 Currently, Pixocial's main products include BeautyPlus, which provides consumers with digital creative production and entertainment tools, AirBrush, which provides users with professional photo and video editing and secondary creation tools for real-life portraits, and Vmake, which is a video editing tool that supports a wide range of video files. The company's products and services cover hundreds of countries around the world, serving hundreds of millions of users. 

 The global digital content creation market size was USD 19.5 billion in 2022 and is projected to surpass around USD 181.4 billion by 2032. it is poised to reach a CAGR of 25.7% from 2023 to 2032. Rising usage of social media and increasing demand for personalized content are the prominent factors boosting market growth. 

 The huge development potential of the digital content market has also attracted many companies to pour in. Domestically, there are mainly Migu Culture(咪咕文化), Original Force(原力数字科技), Dayu Network Technology(大禹数字), etc. Overseas, there are Autodesk, NVIDIA, Unity and so on. 

 This round of financing is co-invested by Eight Roads(斯道资本), FutureX and Meitu. Meitu stated that the introduction of an internationally recognized fund will expand working capital for Meitu's global business, enhance brand image and expand global vision, and will further drive Pixocial's business into the global ecosystem.
