On October 26th, Lotus Technology Inc., a global leader in luxury electric vehicle manufacturing, released its inaugural annual "Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report."
The report introduces Lotus Technology's ESG strategy and provides a detailed account of the company's achievements in 2022 in fulfilling environmental responsibilities, creating social value, and enhancing corporate governance.
Alexious Lee, Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the ESG Management Committee at Lotus Technology, stated, "As a pioneer in the luxury electric vehicle sector, Lotus Technology will collaborate with stakeholders in our ecosystem to collectively drive a more inclusive and sustainable future for the entire industry."
Lotus Technology has set "Driving Change" as its vision for ESG development, aiming to create value for all its stakeholders. While achieving sustainable business growth and meeting consumer mobility needs, the company also commits to contributing to social inclusivity and environmental protection.
Lotus Technology's ESG strategy focuses on six key areas: Natural Beneficiation, Climate Neutrality, Sustainable Supply Chain, Inclusion and Equality, Community Commitment, and Transparent Corporate Governance. In May 2023, Lotus Technology joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has set corresponding objectives in each of the aforementioned areas. By integrating a viable framework into its operations, the company aims to support the realization of global development goals.
