On March 29, Xpeng Motors announced its official entry into the German market and plans to start selling its two models in Germany from May this year - Xpeng G9 and Xpeng P7.
The price range of Xpeng G9 is 57,600 to 69,600 euros, and the price range of Xpeng P7 is 49,600 to 69,600 euros. These two models have been launched in the four Nordic countries of Norway, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, and plan to enter other European markets such as France, Italy and the United Kingdom in the future.
Xpeng Motors aims to capture 3% of the German new energy vehicle market by the end of this year. Xpeng Motors will cooperate with 12 local high-quality dealers to conduct business at 24 retail points in Germany. Their goal is to increase the number of dealers to 60 and expand retail locations to 120 by the end of 2026 to provide European customers with a more comprehensive service experience.
Since this year, Xpeng Motors has accelerated its internationalization. The company's chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng mentioned in an internal open letter in February, “This is the first year that Xpeng Motors' high-end smart driving will go global from China, and it will deploy core markets in Europe, ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America, Oceania and other regions." On February 22, Xpeng Motors established a strategic partnership with UAE dealer group Ali&Sons and will launch multiple models in five countries in the Middle East and Africa in the second quarter. In addition, on March 26, Xpeng Motors also established long-term strategic partnerships with Thai dealer group Neo Mobility Asia, Singapore Premium Automobiles, Malaysian Bermaz Auto and other partners. The company plans to launch the right-hand drive version of Xpeng G6 in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia, and plans to start delivery in the third quarter of this year.
