From April 17th to 19th, local time, Mexico hosted the largest solar photovoltaic and energy storage event, SOLAR + STORAGE MEXICO 2024, at the Guadalajara Exhibition Center. Astronergy(正泰新能) took the lead in showcasing its flagship ASTRO series products at booth E25, demonstrating the high efficiency potential of TOPCon 4.0 technology to the audience.
The Mexico International Solar Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Exhibition, jointly organized by the world's three solar energy giants—Germany's Hanover, the United States' International Solar Exhibition, and Shanghai's SNEC Photovoltaic Exhibition— attracted hundreds of global photovoltaic companies to exhibit. The exhibition focused on Mexico's renewable energy development trends, showcasing photovoltaic, energy storage, and other products and clean energy solutions.
Astronergy, established in 2009 with a registered capital of 9.38 billion yuan, is a comprehensive clean energy solutions provider under the Chnt Group(正泰集团), covering development, construction, operation, and services. We have top-notch capabilities in power station design, procurement, construction, commissioning, grid connection, and other turnkey contracting services, providing customers with comprehensive photovoltaic system solutions. As of now, the company's cumulative photovoltaic installed capacity has reached 11 gigawatts globally, ranking among the top in the country. Leveraging the Chint Group's 40 years of deep accumulation in the power energy field and the advantages of the electrical industry chain, Astronergy has become a new energy enterprise in the industry with both system integration and technological integration advantages.
Efficiency, high power, and reliability are synonymous with Astronergy's ASTRO N7. This product adopts cutting-edge technologies such as rectangular silicon wafers, TOPCon 4.0 cells, SMBB, double-layer coated glass, and gap-filling film, with a power of up to 625W for the 66 module type and a module efficiency of up to 23.14%. With high-performance support, the ASTRO N7 series significantly reduces BOS and LCOE costs, creating greater value for end customers.
Also attracting significant attention at the exhibition are the ASTRO N5 modules. With more "hands-on experience," ASTRO N5 demonstrates outstanding performance in terms of power generation, bifaciality, temperature coefficient, low-light performance, LID, and LETID.
In addition to excellent power generation performance, Astronergy's ASTRO N5 and ASTRO N7 have a low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/℃, ensuring excellent power generation even in high-temperature environments, easily adapting to various application scenarios in Mexico.
Mexico boasts abundant solar energy resources and has a natural advantage in developing photovoltaics. Over the past decade, the solar energy industry in Mexico has experienced significant growth. According to SOLAR QUARTER's data forecast, the Mexican market is expected to grow from 9.80GW in 2023 to 15.02GW in 2028, with a compound annual growth rate of 8.91%.
In the domestic market, Astronergy has been actively exploring photovoltaic power station construction models, with experience in "photovoltaic +" power station construction such as agricultural, desert, fishing, and pastoral photovoltaics. Globally, the company actively participates in the Belt and Road Initiative, and has carried out photovoltaic power station construction and EPC services in many countries including Thailand, Spain, the United States, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, Romania, South Africa, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, Vietnam, and Egypt, committed to bringing clean energy to the world and promoting green development.
Astronergy has always been committed to technological innovation, providing more efficient clean energy solutions for Mexico with its ASTRO series high-efficiency module products, while exporting more valuable green energy to more Latin American countries, and jointly building a low-carbon Earth.
