Bo State Biotechnology has completed a pre-A round financing of tens of millions of yuan. Established in 2020, Biota focuses on the R&D of organic hazardous waste biodegradation and harmless treatment technologies. The funding, led by Yuanhe Puhua with follow-up investment from Yaotu Capital and continued support from angel investor Ruixia Investment, will be used for market expansion and technological iteration.
EqualOcean has learned that Bo State (Shanghai) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. has completed tens of millions of yuan in Pre-A round financing. This round was led by Yuanhe Puhua, with Yaotu Capital participating, and continued support from angel investor Ruixia Investment. The funds raised will be used for market expansion and technological updates.
Established in 2020, Bo State Biotechnology specializes in the research and development of technologies aimed at the efficient and environmentally friendly biodegradation and harmless treatment of organic hazardous wastes. Their solutions aim to achieve the reduction and neutralization of hazardous paint sludge, wastewater, and VOC emissions at their source through high-efficiency, eco-friendly biological degradation methods. Currently, the company's solutions have been successfully applied on a large scale in industrial applications.
According to reports, their bio-instant degradation technology, developed in collaboration with a DuPont-established team of paint experts and incubated at Fudan University and Zhejiang University in 2019, passed on-site testing at automotive component factories that same year. As of now, the technology has undergone two years of research and development testing and three years of mature application, marking the beginning of rapid iterative growth.
Bo State Biotechnology's biological waste degradation solutions have already been applied and received bulk processing orders from several leading customers in the automotive industry, while also actively expanding into other industrial sectors such as manufacturing and 3C electronics.
Yin Botao, partner at Yuanhe Puhua, stated, "The Bo State team possesses interdisciplinary expertise in paint and biology, strong engineering capabilities, and is globally the first to apply microbiological waste degradation technology to processes in industries such as automotive manufacturing, offering customers comprehensive waste management solutions. This reduces customer fixed asset investments and operational maintenance costs in the 'age of overworking'. The market space for waste treatment is enormous, and the biological degradation method is particularly suitable for the current dual carbon and emission reduction industry trends. We believe that the tightening of VOC emission standards will drive downstream customers to use new technologies. We are optimistic about the company's long-term scalability in various fields, including pharmaceuticals and white waste disposal, and hope that the company's technology will play a greater role in 'cleaning the earth'. Yuanhe Puhua will continue to accompany and support entrepreneurs with fundamental technological innovation capabilities, helping them continuously create value for customers and society."
