Xpeng Motors further expands its footprint in the European market

On March 11, Xpeng Motors announced its entry into the markets of Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Its Xpeng P7, Xpeng G9, and Xpeng G6 are scheduled to start sales in the second quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, Xpeng Motors has signed official agency cooperation agreements with automotive distributor Inchcape and European dealer Hedin Group respectively. According to the agreements, Inchcape will be responsible for the import and national distribution business in the Polish market, while Hedin Group will take full charge of the markets in Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
Inchcape is a well-known automotive dealership group in the Eastern European region with over a decade of industry experience in automotive distribution.
As one of the largest dealership groups in Europe, Hedin Group has high-quality localized resources and a mature dealership system, with its business spanning 14 countries and regions including Sweden and Germany.
In recent years, the sales volume of new energy vehicles in Poland has been rising steadily. Statistics show that as of the end of January 2025, a total of 71,908 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) have been registered in Poland. In January 2025, the number of newly registered battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in Poland reached 1,808, a year-on-year increase of 11%.
In recent years, starting from the Norwegian market, Xpeng Motors has been accelerating its layout in the European market. It has launched a number of intelligent vehicle models in multiple countries such as Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. Currently, Xpeng Motors has successfully launched three vehicle models in Europe - Xpeng P7, Xpeng G9, and Xpeng G6. All three models have won a 5-star safety rating in the European E-NCAP crash tests.
