ME7, the first mass-produced car of EV-maker Enovate, hit the market on September 19 in Shanghai. Before this, the ME7 debuted at the Guangzhou Auto Show back in November 2018. The ME7 is positioned in the medium-sized SUV section and competes directly with NIO’s ES6 and LiXiang ONE. The new car comes in three editions, with the maximum NEDC range of 530km. Other than that, according to Enovate, the ME7 is equipped with Level 2 advanced driver assistance system that embraces a total of 16 functions such as ACC (adaptive cruise control), APA (active park assistance) and AEB (autonomous emergency braking). Founded in 2015, up till now Enovate has disclosed financing amounts that have exceeded CNY 6.5 billion, backed by Investors including SoftBank, Shanghai Electric etc.
