Sun Chunlan: work out the prevention and control plan of AIDS in the 14th five year plan

Today is the 33rd World AIDS Day. Sun Chunlan, vice premier of the State Council and director of the Working Committee on AIDS prevention and control of the State Council, went to Beijing You'an Hospital to investigate AIDS prevention and control. Sun Chunlan pointed out that at present, China's AIDS prevention and control is facing new situations and new requirements. It is necessary to strengthen source prevention and control, deepen education and intervention for key groups, popularize the knowledge of preventable, controllable and curable AIDS, improve the detection network, carry out active screening, expand the coverage of testing population, maximize the detection and management of infected people, and reduce the level of AIDS epidemic. We should concentrate our efforts on tackling key problems in prevention and treatment, further play the role of traditional Chinese medicine, and constantly improve the diagnosis and treatment plan. Sun Chunlan stressed that all regions and departments should, in accordance with the deployment of comprehensively promoting the construction of a healthy China, speed up the preparation of the "fourteenth five year plan" for prevention and control of AIDS.
