According to the verge, Google's acquisition of Fitbit is nearing completion. Now the European Commission has approved a $2.1 billion deal for Fitbit, a wearable device company. Google agreed not to use Fitbit data collected from any user in the European Economic Area (EEA) for targeted advertising, including GPS and health data. The European Commission said the concessions were valid for 10 years and could be extended for another 10 years.
