Baidu releases a service platform for autonomous driving
By the first half of 2021, Baidu's autonomous driving unit Apollo has already transported more than 400,000 passengers and tested it a total of more than 14 million kilometers. Apollo also holds more than 2,900 patents for autonomous driving. It has opened autonomous driving services in Beijing, Guangzhou, Changsha, and Cangzhou. The new service platform is expected to make autonomous driving available to more people.
