Under the strategic vision of "2030 carbon peak and 2060 carbon neutralization", China puts forward the development goal of vigorously developing renewable energy and accelerating the planning and construction of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects in deserts, Gobi and desert areas. Kubuqi 2 million KW photovoltaic sand control project, which was recently started in Hangjin Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is one of the first batch of large-scale wind power photovoltaic base projects in China. The total investment of the project is nearly 12 billion yuan. It is planned to realize full capacity grid connected power generation by the end of 2023, with an annual average grid connected power of 4.1 billion kWh and an annual carbon dioxide emission reduction of more than 3.4 million tons.
