Financial Associated Press, October 27 - Amazon said on Wednesday that as part of the $2 billion climate commitment fund launched in June last year, the company has invested in three new start-ups. One of the three new companies invested by Amazon is resilient power, which is developing electric vehicle charging technology. Amazon said the startup would help advance its own goal of deploying 100000 electric delivery vehicles by 2030. The other is CMC machinery, which produces boxes designed according to the exact dimensions of the products in each order, so that disposable plastic fillers do not need to be used in transportation. Another company, Infinium, has received funding from Amazon to develop ultra-low carbon fuels for air, sea and heavy truck fleets to replace fossil fuels, diesel and jet fuels.
