Yiou automobile on January 27, Bosch and cariad, a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group, established a comprehensive partnership on January 26, aiming to provide drivers with a safer and easier driving experience and accelerate the automatic driving function of the whole series of models. The two sides hope to adjust some and high automatic driving technology to meet the demand of mass production and bring the automatic driving technology closer to consumers. The purpose of this technical cooperation is to introduce the automatic driving function for Volkswagen Group's brand cars, so that drivers can temporarily take off driving. Specifically, it involves L2 automatic driving system for city, suburban and highway driving, and L3 level conditional automatic driving system for highway driving. The first autopilot system will be assembled in 2023. The two sides will cooperate to develop a cutting-edge standardized platform for some and highly autonomous driving technologies, and apply the platform to the full range of passenger cars of Volkswagen Group brands. In other words, they will jointly create autonomous driving function for one of the automobile brands with the highest market share in the world. All software components jointly developed by the two sides can also be used in cars and ecosystems of other manufacturers.
