On the 28th, it was learned from the national energy administration that in 2021, China's new installed capacity of renewable energy was 134 million KW, accounting for 76.1% of the country's new installed capacity of power generation; Renewable energy power generation grew steadily, reaching 2.48 trillion kwh, accounting for 29.8% of the electricity consumption of the whole society. Hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic power generation and biomass power generation account for 16.1%, 7.9%, 3.9% and 2% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society respectively. Among the newly installed photovoltaic power generation in 2021, distributed photovoltaic power generation increased by 29.28 million KW, accounting for about 55% of the total newly installed photovoltaic power generation, surpassing the centralized power station for the first time in history.
