Intel CEO pat Kissinger said on Thursday that Intel would be interested in participating if a consortium acquired arm, a British semiconductor and software design company. Kissinger said that long before NVIDIA proposed to buy arm from Softbank group, the industry had been discussing the formation of a consortium to buy arm. NVIDIA's $80 billion acquisition of arm officially failed last week due to regulatory obstacles. Now, Softbank seeks to list arm. Kissinger said Intel would be happy to see arm listed or owned by a consortium.
