CNOOC announced on the 25th that the first self operated ultra deep water atmospheric field "deep sea No. 1" in China has been put into operation for the first year, with a cumulative production of more than 2billion cubic meters of natural gas and a cumulative export of more than 200000 cubic meters of condensate, becoming the main gas field in China's "sea to land" supply to Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, the Great Bay area and Hainan free trade port. At present, CNOOC has established a "deep sea 2" project team with the construction and operation technicians of "deep sea 1" atmospheric field as the backbone to accelerate the construction of China's first deep-water high-temperature and high-pressure gas field "deep sea 2" (Lingshui 25-1). The new project will be fully integrated into the existing natural gas supply system, further expand the scale of deepwater natural gas production and improve China's energy self-sufficiency rate.
