On July 14, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on China’s import and export performance in the first half of 2025. Wang Lingjun, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) stated that China’s foreign trade enterprises have capitalized on the global energy transition trend by continuously increasing the supply of high-quality green products and accelerating their expansion into new sectors and markets. In the first half of the year, the export growth rates of lithium batteries and wind turbines exceeded 20%. Last year, China’s share of the global industrial robot export market jumped to second place, and in the first half of 2025, exports continued to grow by 61.5%.
