On September 11 at the Munich IAA Mobility Show, BYD (比亚迪) announced that its Denza brand will be the first to adopt megawatt fast-charging technology, with 200–300 charging stations set to launch next year. Seven models, including the Denza Z9GT and Seagull 06 DM-i, were showcased. BYD confirmed its Hungary plant will begin production this year, with the first model being the Seagull. The company’s passenger cars now cover 32 European markets, and it plans to open over 2,000 stores across Europe by the end of 2026, including 120 outlets in Germany by year-end 2025.
