October 14 — Beijing. China’s Pony.ai (小马智行) and WeRide (文远知行) have both received overseas listing filing approvals from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), paving the way for their dual listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). Each company plans to issue up to 102 million ordinary shares. Pony.ai went public on Nasdaq in November 2024, while WeRide listed there in October 2024. Analysts view their Hong Kong listings as a sign that Chinese autonomous driving firms are accelerating dual-capital-market strategies, underscoring global investor confidence in the sector’s long-term growth.
