On February 9, 2021, Miaoshou Doctor raises CNY 3 billion in series E, which is jointly led by Sequoia Capital China fund and Tencent, followed by Sequoia Capital China, Qiming Venture Partners, Index Capital, INCE Capital, CITIC Securities. Index capital also serves as its financial advisor in this round. According to Miaoshou, the funding will be used for the development of Internet medicine, medication management, and health insurance.
Founded in 2015, the company has established four business segments including Miaoshou.net, Yuanxin Medical Technology, Yuanxin Pharmacy, and Yuanxin Insurance, becoming a one-stop healthcare platform. It has more than 1.3 million registered doctors with an average daily visit of 7 million times and has built over 200 online and offline hospitals in China covering 80 large cities.
