The four new features of the Intelligent Cloud-Network Solution along with the all-scenario NetEngine series intelligent routers will enable Huawei to help industries transition smoothly into the digital era.
The president of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, Kevin Hu, introduced the new features of Huawei's Intelligent Cloud-Network Solution at the 7th Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF). The new features will help expedite the digitization process of various industries and provide differentiated cloud-network convergence service capabilities. The four new features are as follows:
All-service super edge CO: CO can provide services to multiple types of users as the new devices will now include multi-service processing capabilities that were originally provided by different devices. This improvement opens up new business growth space while reducing TCO.
Tenant-level hard slicing: The new NetEngine A800 series intelligent router provides multiple types of services keeping physical isolation with deterministic service SLAs. The router also supports tenant-level hierarchical slicing, which ensure service assurance and doubles monetization capability as it can be used for over 1,000 applications.
SRv6-powered network programmability: The network supports real-time path selection, differentiated experience assurance, and optimal latency. SRv6 will enable flexible network programming, providing additional value-added service types and implementing integrated orchestration of multiple services.
Cloud-network integration: The integration workload of the OSS and BSS domains is reduced by more than 80% via the cloud-oriented simplified APIs. The result will help provide more efficient cloud-network services with visualized network-wide status. Services can also be adjusted to provide differentiated DCIT options.
Kevin Xu also introduced the NetEngine series intelligent routers that will help build and operate the cloud network in the digital era.
