Huawei Kicks off the 19th Global Analyst Summit With Goal to Expand its Cloud Service

On April 27, Huawei hosted the 19th Global Analyst Summit and announced a goal for Huawei Mobile Cloud to implement strategic expansion and strengthen its services in 47 cities across the world.

 Last year, Huawei made organizational changes to a number of internal business segments, of which the cloud business became the focus of adjustment, with the completion of personnel and structural integration, Huawei began to increase the layout of resources on the cloud business. This year, Huawei Mobile Cloud will continue to strengthen its investment around the "Everything is a Service" strategy, as well as its comprehensive layout around seven global regions and 42 high-value countries.

Huawei's Marketing and Sales Director indicated that Huawei Cloud will open services in Indonesia, Ireland, Turkey, and other countries in the second half of this year. By the end of 2022, there will also be new plans in succession to find the appropriate resources and ways to build. In 2021, Huawei Mobile Cloud's stock customer average revenue per user grew by 33%, and the cloud market transaction value grew by 105% with further room to grow this year.

Currently, Huawei Mobile Cloud has served 80% of China's Top 50 Internet customers, and the number of government cloud-based services has reached more than 600. The company is also covering the digital transformation of China's six largest banks, 12 joint-stock commercial banks and Top 5 insurance institutions, 30 smart airports, more than 40 industrial Internet innovation centers, and 17,000 manufacturing enterprises.

The company disclosed that in the next 18 to 24 months, it expects an increased number of market organizations that will begin to explore ways to use industry clouds to meet their unique vertical needs. Meanwhile, head enterprises in many industries, such as manufacturing, finance, trade, and healthcare, will collaborate with cloud vendors, professional consulting services, software service providers, and system integrators to develop a series of cloud-based solutions with industry-specific attributes in the future. These implementations will form vertical-oriented industry cloud platforms, and industry-integrated supply chain platforms to a greater extent.
