Data-Driven Service Provider Hsmap Nets CNY 100 Mn in Series B Round

Hsmap (Chinese: 火石创造) announced the completion of a Series B round of financing worth more than CNY 100 million, which was jointly invested by the China SME Development Fund (Chinese: 国家中小企业发展基金), Liando U Valley (Chinese: 联东U谷) and the existing shareholder Wangmei Investment (Chinese: 望美投资).

It is a new funding round for Hsmap after the financing in 2019 of nearly CNY 100 million. Jin Xia, chairman of Hsmap, said that the fund would be used to explore data intelligence services continuously. The company will increase collaboration with Liando U Valley in industrial data services and park operations.

Founded in August 2015, Hsmap is a big data and artificial intelligence technology company focusing on the life and health industry. The company provides the government and parks with integrated solutions for data-driven industrial development, including top-level design, industry 4.0, intelligent investment promotion systems, digital innovation service platforms and professional services of industrial resources.

At present, the business created by Hsmap has completed the extension from biomedicine to high-end equipment, artificial intelligence, energy conservation and environmental protection, integrated circuits, new materials and so on. It has provided data intelligence services for 24 provinces, 50 cities, more than 150 parks and tens of thousands of enterprises in China.

Current cooperative clients include Shanghai Zhangjiang Biomedical Base, Chongqing International Biological City, Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Guangzhou International Bio Island and Suzhou Industrial Park Management Committee.

Its competitors include 5 Degrees Easy Chain (Chinese: 五度易链) and Chanye OS (Chinese: 上奇产业通).
