EqualOcean has been informed that on July 8, RoboticPlus (Chinese: 大界机器人) was invited to the 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) and released a new AI product - RoBIM Cloud.

RoboticPlus

RoBIM Cloud, developed over 3 years, is a cloud-native intelligent robotics flexible production platform to help manufacturing practitioners quickly build and deploy executable production robotics solutions.RoboticPlus has gradually formed a cross-industry " RoboticPlus has gradually formed a cross-industry "Data+Algorithm+Process" modeling service capability and has developed the RoBIM Cloud platform based on this accumulation.

The everyday use of industrial robots is to perform repetitive tasks, but when the environment changes, industrial robots are often unable to respond in time and need to be guided by manual teaching methods, with a large number of complicated debugging work, and therefore unable to adapt to the demand for flexible production of small batches and multiple batches.

RoboticPlus develops RoBIM Cloud Platform products through three core technologies, i.e. data, algorithm and process. Based on geometric algorithms and numerical optimization methods, combined with AI technology, RoboticPlus builds a modular and low-code algorithm library and condenses the continuous accumulation of industry know-how and processes to provide users with a low-code and programming-free cloud platform that realizes mass drawings and provides users with an easy-to-use and flexible production platform. RoboticPlus provides users a low-code and programming-free cloud platform to learn one-key import and instant production of mass drawings and models.

RoboticPlus enables flexible manufacturing for thousands of industries through its four modules

--Digital Twin: Providing a full-featured simulation environment that realizes a complete connection between virtual hardware, control processes and drawings. It supports the expansion of multi-brand, full-category robots, auxiliary tools and sensors and other hardware, and has the ability to draw management and collaborative work. Users can build virtual factories with simple drag and drop, and quickly simulate, analyze and optimize the production process to improve design efficiency.

--Feature Analysis: Reading and understanding drawings is the first step to flexible manufacturing. The platform supports the analysis and access of DXF, GEN, IFC, NC, STEP and other format files, so no matter whether it is a flat surface or three-dimensional, or even a large number of workpieces, it can intelligently perceive the feature information, so the robot can understand various drawings, enabling factories to realize flexible production.

--Process Matching: The platform has accumulated a rich process database and is constantly updated and developed, including welding, cutting, grinding, additive and subtractive manufacturing, etc. Through the feature-to-process transformation model, it realizes self-determination and self-optimization of the process, solving the problem of time-consuming and labor-intensive manual adjustment of parameters or lack of process knowledge. It can solve the problem of time-consuming and labor-intensive manual adjustment of parameters or blank process knowledge, and realize lean production.

--Model as a Service: In addition to providing the basic PaaS development platform for the flexible production of industrial robots with equipment, algorithms, bus drives and vision, RoboticPlus can also develop customized flexible production models based on customer-specific drawings, features and processes data to achieve intelligent production in targeted application scenarios. The RoBIM Cloud can also develop customized flexible production models based on customer-specific drawings, features, and process data, targeting actual application scenarios and realizing intelligent model-driven flexible production experience.

RoBIM Cloud is expected to be officially launched on the RoboticPlus website in August, and at the same time, based on the data, algorithms and automation capabilities of the RoBIM Cloud platform, it will provide MaaS services for enterprise customers to better support the digital and intelligent transformation of the construction and manufacturing industries.
