Saudi Arabia to Unveil Over $100 Billion in Investment Opportunities at Future Aviation Fo

The Future Aviation Forum will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from May 20 to 22, where Saudi Arabia will announce over $100 billion in investment opportunities.

The forum will highlight projects and incentives to attract investment into Saudi Arabia's aviation sector, including airports, airlines, ground services, cargo, and logistics. Among the $100 billion in investment opportunities, airport projects will account for over $50 billion, new aircraft orders will total approximately $40 billion, and the remaining $10 billion will be allocated to other projects, with $5 billion specifically dedicated to special logistics zones in regions such as Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.

Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, stated, "The Saudi aviation strategy will double the number of passengers, connect over 250 destinations, and manage more than 330 routes. By 2030, passenger throughput will reach 100 million, and cargo throughput will reach 4.5 million tons."

Minister of Investment, Khalid Al-Falih, added, "Saudi Arabia is the world's new investment hub, aiming to achieve $3.3 trillion in investments by 2030. The aviation sector is a key investment area."

The event will include investor briefings, meetings, and panel discussions on major projects, including the six-runway King Salman International Airport in Riyadh and public-private partnerships for international airports in Abha, Taif, Hail, and Qassim. The showcase will also feature opportunities in cargo and logistics, air traffic, and business aviation, along with expansion plans for airlines such as Saudia, Flynas, and Flyadeal.

Global executives from Boeing, Airbus, COMAC, and Embraer, as well as investors and representatives from airlines, airports, cargo, logistics, and aviation services companies, will attend the event.
