No need for currency conversion, Chinese mobile travel platform DiDi Global offers seamless overseas travel services

To meet users' growing demand for cross-border travel, Chinese mobile travel platform DiDi Global has announced special promotions for the May Day holiday. Additionally, its overseas car rental service recently launched, initially covering 26 cities across 11 countries.
DiDi Global revealed that it currently operates in over 1,200 cities, including Hong Kong (China), as well as nine other countries such as South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. During the May Day holiday, users can enjoy exclusive discounts, including coupon packs worth up to 100 CNY and ride fares starting at 20% off.
Users do not need to download or register for additional apps, nor do they need to link a foreign bank card. Simply updating the DiDi Global app to version 7.0 or later enables seamless ride-hailing abroad, with payment options including Alipay and WeChat Pay. DiDi Global’s system automatically calculates fares based on real-time exchange rates, ensuring transparent pricing. The service also offers a Chinese-language interface and customer support to help users overcome language barriers.
To cater to the needs of domestic travelers for long-duration, long-distance, and multi-stop trips abroad, DiDi Global has also introduced its overseas car rental service. The initial rollout covers 26 popular cities across 11 countries, including Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Seoul, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, and Sydney.
