On June 3, ASD (Aishida) released an evening announcement stating that the company plans to invest in the construction of a modernized cookware, small appliances, and industrial robot R&D and production facility in Vietnam, along with the simultaneous establishment of a corresponding marketing network. The total investment will not exceed 150 million CNY (approximately 20.85 million USD).

The investment amount will primarily be used for establishing a foreign subsidiary, leasing factory space, building production lines, and supporting infrastructure. The investment figure is a budget estimate, and the actual investment will be determined based on actual expenditures.
The announcement highlights that this investment project in Vietnam will benefit the company in two key ways: first, it will enable rapid expansion into Southeast Asia and align with the long-term trends of local manufacturing development and industrial intelligence upgrading. Second, it will help ASD better serve overseas customers amid the evolving international trade landscape and increase the overseas market share and brand recognition of its traditional products, including cookware and small appliances. Additionally, Vietnam's complete industrial support resources and favorable cost advantages will enhance product competitiveness in the market.
Founded in 1993, ASD is currently chaired by Chen Helin. The company primarily engages in the production of cookware, small appliances, home goods, industrial robots, and intelligent manufacturing system integration based on industrial robots. Cookware and small appliances are ASD's traditional core businesses, focusing on domestic sales of its own brand, providing OEM services for internationally renowned companies, and exporting its own brand to international markets. According to the company’s 2024 annual report, its products are currently sold in several countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, France, Japan, and Australia. Furthermore, ASD is actively expanding its own brand, having registered the ASD trademark in multiple countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and New Zealand.
