On January 5, according to a report by Xinhua Finance, Xiaomi International (小米国际业务) has entered into a strategic partnership with AliExpress, the cross-border e-commerce platform under Alibaba Group (阿里巴巴集团). As part of the agreement, Xiaomi has officially joined AliExpress’s “Super Brands Go Global” programme.

Under the partnership, the two sides will work together across core categories such as smartphones and televisions to jointly develop localised user operations and strengthen brand awareness in key overseas markets.

According to a report by Sina Technology in September 2025, AliExpress was then preparing a “top-tier” brand globalisation initiative, with invitations extended to Fortune Global 500 companies as well as leading domestic and international brands. Screenshots showed that Xiaomi (小米) and Pop Mart (泡泡玛特), among others, had been listed as participants in the “Super Brands” programme and labelled as “deep cooperation” partners.

IT Home noted that in June 2025, AliExpress launched a vehicle sales business and began pilot operations in the Middle East, which included the Xiaomi SU7 vehicle.

AliExpress is Alibaba Group’s global cross-border e-commerce platform, primarily serving overseas consumers with products from Chinese manufacturers and global merchants, and supports multiple languages and localised payment methods.
