On January 26, JD Technology (京东科技)’s AI shopping agent JoyGlance officially launched on Rokid (乐奇 Rokid), a leading smart glasses brand, marking the commercial rollout of the world’s first shopping application designed specifically for smart glasses.

By the end of 2025, JoyGlance—powered by JD’s large language model JoyAI—had already announced a strategic partnership with Rokid (乐奇 Rokid). This official launch signals full system integration between the two sides and the transition into real-world commercial use.

JoyGlance’s core capabilities, including intent recognition, intelligent product search, and voiceprint-based payment, are deeply integrated with Rokid’s technologies such as waveguide display, voice interaction, and proprietary operating system, upgrading smart glasses from wearable devices into a new AI-powered shopping入口 (AI commerce interface).

The shopping process is significantly simplified—from the traditional steps of “search, browse, compare, order, and pay” to a streamlined “say, see, pay” flow. Users can simply say, “Rokid, help me find the same product,” and the system will identify the item and complete product selection, cart addition, or direct purchase via voice interaction.

In terms of payment security, JoyGlance adopts a dual-layer financial-grade system combining voice recognition and voiceprint authentication, effectively preventing replay attacks and voice synthesis fraud, ensuring natural interaction alongside financial-level security standards.
