Selected Developments
1. Cainiao (菜鸟物流) and SHEIN Launch Dedicated Cross-border Lines for Multiple Countries, US Apparel Line Reaches in 5 Days
[Event] Recently, Cainiao (菜鸟物流) announced the launch of dedicated cross-border line products for sellers on the SHEIN platform, covering multiple markets including Europe, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. Among them, the US apparel line designed specifically for the fashion category performs exceptionally well, achieving delivery in as fast as 5 days. This move significantly shortens the cross-border transportation cycle and enhances the consumer shopping experience.
At the same time, Cainiao has officially obtained the qualification of SHEIN's officially certified warehouse, and its overseas warehouse network area across 18 mainstream countries and regions globally has exceeded 800,000 square meters. As SHEIN continues to accelerate its localized fulfillment layout, this officially cooperated logistics system of Cainiao is becoming an important support for cross-border sellers to improve delivery timeliness and optimize cost efficiency.
2. Leading European Logistics Enterprise DHL Group and JD.com (京东) Sign MOU to Build China-Europe Integrated Solutions
[Event] Recently, DHL Group and JD.com (京东) signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Beijing to establish a strategic partnership. Both parties will integrate DHL's global logistics infrastructure with JD.com's e-commerce ecosystem, and jointly support German brands in expanding into the Chinese market and European business through Joybuy, JD.com's European online retail platform.
By connecting to JD Worldwide (京东国际), German brands can reach over 700 million Chinese consumers on the JD.com platform without establishing a physical entity in China. DHL and JD Logistics (京东物流) will jointly design end-to-end integrated logistics solutions, utilizing preferential tax policies for direct mail goods to reduce costs. In addition, JD.com will also use the Joybuy platform to provide German brands with new sales channels and retail infrastructure to connect with a broader range of European consumers. The cooperation aims to improve market entry efficiency and help German enterprises achieve long-term brand growth.
3. Huawei's (华为) Super-node Computing Cluster Debuts in Overseas Market for the First Time
[Event] On March 2, during the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC), Huawei (华为) showcased multiple products, including the intelligent computing super-node Atlas 950 SuperPoD and the general computing super-node TaiShan 950 SuperPoD, to the overseas market for the first time. In the agent era of trillion-parameter models and native omni-modal integration, the demand for computing power has increased a hundredfold. Through the strategy of "breaking process blockades with architectural innovation," Huawei uses systems engineering methods to efficiently interconnect thousands of chips, forming a logically unified supercomputer.
The Atlas 950 SuperPoD showcased this time evolves based on the Lingqu 2.0 (灵衢2.0) protocol. Using a 64-card single cabinet as a unit, it supports high-speed interconnection of up to 8,192 NPU cards, suitable for ultra-large-scale AI training and massive inference. The TaiShan 950 SuperPoD is the industry's first general computing super-node, aiming to solve challenges such as high latency and large data movement overhead in general computing scenarios. Previously, Huawei had launched the Atlas 900 super-node based on Lingqu 1.0 and deployed hundreds of sets commercially across multiple industries.
While improving computing power, Huawei also faces objective challenges such as energy consumption. For example, although the Ascend 384 (昇腾384) super-node approaches twice the computing power performance of NVIDIA's GB200 NVL72, its power consumption per floating-point operation is 2.5 times higher. To build the ecosystem, Huawei announced the full open-sourcing of the CANN heterogeneous computing architecture, fully open-sourcing software codes such as the operator library and programming language to support independent innovation by developers. Huawei's Vice Chairman Xu Zhijun previously stated that relying on the connection technology capabilities of the past 30 years, Huawei can achieve a world-leading level of computing power through ten-thousand-card-level super-nodes.
4. Xiaomi's (小米) Lu Weibing: Very Confident in Europe, Smartphone Market Share Reaches 20%
[Event] On March 2, the MWC 2026 officially opened today. Lu Weibing, Partner, President, and President of the Smartphone Department at Xiaomi Group (小米集团), had a dialogue with media outlets including Sina Tech.
He revealed: "Xiaomi's smartphone market share in the entire European market is around 20%. It has been number one in Spain for a long time, and basically in the top three in other markets. The high-end market share is getting better and better. In the German market, there are partnerships with Leica and the Nürburgring. Plus, after the cars go overseas to Europe, it will definitely help the Xiaomi brand take another big step forward. We are very confident in Europe."
5. RayNeo (雷鸟创新) Partners with Deutsche Telekom to Launch Agentic AI Smart Glasses
[Event] March 6 News - During MWC 2026, RayNeo (雷鸟创新) reached a partnership with Deutsche Telekom to jointly showcase the agentic AI application "Magenta AI" based on the RayNeo X3 Pro. This is another deep cooperation established by RayNeo with a top global operator, following China Mobile (中国移动) and China Unicom (中国联通), marking the further strengthening of Chinese AR enterprises' expansion momentum in the global market.
As the world's smallest mass-producible binocular full-color MicroLED optical waveguide AR glasses, the RayNeo X3 Pro integrates technologies such as Deutsche Telekom Magenta AI's Agentic AI, vision, and contextual assistance. The device achieves an experience leap from "people seeking services" to "services understanding people," possessing functions like object recognition and real-time translation, and can understand the user's environment and potential needs in real-time to complete complex tasks autonomously.
In the on-site demonstration at MWC, the wearer's gaze falling on a menu could obtain translations and dish recommendations, and scanning a movie poster would automatically display the rating and ticket purchase portal. Users only need to issue voice commands such as "buy two tickets for tonight," and the glasses can complete the ticket purchase while planning the travel route. This "perception as a service" interactive model provides telecommunications operators with a mature technical platform and mass production guarantee for exploring the next generation of mobile entry devices.
