On June 1, NVIDIA (英伟达) Founder and CEO Jensen Huang delivered a keynote speech highlighting multiple technological breakthroughs driving the next generation of artificial intelligence. In the field of humanoid robotics, NVIDIA (英伟达) announced the launch of the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T humanoid robot reference design. This marks the first open humanoid robot reference design constructed on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor and NVIDIA Isaac GR00T open development platforms, aiming to provide research teams with a highly efficient humanoid robot development framework.

Notably, this reference design will be built upon the Unitree (宇树科技) H2, integrating the Unitree (宇树科技) H2 Plus humanoid robot, the Sharpa Wave tactile five-finger dexterous hand, the NVIDIA Jetson Thor onboard computing platform, as well as Isaac GR00T software and workflows. By unifying the robotic "body" and the AI "brain" within a single integrated solution, this design is poised to help research teams accelerate the entire process from robot initialization to skill development, and ultimately to real-world scenario verification.

Furthermore, reports indicate that in addition to its planned collaboration with China's Unitree (宇树科技), NVIDIA (英伟达) will also partner with humanoid robot manufacturers across the United States, Europe, and South Korea to jointly construct humanoid robots tailored for research purposes. Broadly speaking, NVIDIA (英伟达) is further doubling down on its embodied intelligence and humanoid robotics ecosystem, driving the extension of AI from the digital realm into the physical world.
