GENISOM AI(智身科技)announced on September 20, 2026, that it had completed a Series B financing round worth several hundred million yuan, led by UAE-based Stone Venture(磊石资本). The Chinese robotics company plans to use the funding to develop its technology and expand industrial applications. The exact investment amount and valuation were not disclosed.

Participants included Chinese financial institutions and industrial investors, among them Neusoft(东软集团), Highpower Technology(豪鹏科技)and Riying Electronics(日盈电子). The combination brings an overseas investor into a shareholder group that also includes companies with software, electronics and manufacturing capabilities.

GENISOM said investment would support robot hardware, high-level decision-making, motion control and task execution, including further development of its GSD autonomous navigation system. Its portfolio spans quadruped and humanoid robots as well as internally developed joint modules, with applications targeting industrial inspection, emergency response and other operating environments.

The company reported cumulative production of more than 15,000 embodied-intelligence robots by June 2026, alongside a substantial increase in monthly manufacturing capacity. These are company-reported production figures; the announcement did not establish how many units had been sold, accepted by customers or put into sustained commercial operation. GENISOM also says annual production capacity for its CHAMP joint modules exceeds one million units, a separate component-capacity measure.

The overseas opportunity centers on potential applications in oil and gas, energy, security and emergency response. GENISOM links its Middle Eastern ambitions to the overlap between those sectors and the applications it has pursued in China. Stone Venture’s participation could help it develop regional relationships, but the financing announcement did not identify a Middle Eastern customer contract, order volume or deployment schedule.

Following the round, GENISOM also plans to launch its “Gravity” program, initially making 1,000 robots and more than CNY 100 million in combined resources available to developers, universities and industry partners. The program is intended to broaden development and application testing around its products.

For Chinese robotics companies, the round illustrates a possible connection between overseas capital and industrial market expansion. Turning that connection into revenue requires customer-specific validation, local service capabilities and reliable performance under operating conditions. GENISOM’s manufacturing scale may support that effort, but the evidence that matters next will be named projects, repeat orders and sustained utilization. The funding provides resources for overseas growth; its commercial outcome remains to be demonstrated.
