Recently, leading technology companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu have been exploring and investing in fields connected to smart building and property big data. The value chain of proptech becomes more complete because of the involvement of diverse investors. According to Venture Scanner, the CAGR of investment in proptech from 2013 to 2018 was 16%. JLL predicted that leading into 2020, proptech startups in the Asia-Pacific region would receive USD 4.5 billion investment annually. Many signals indicate that more and more players are flowing into proptech and transform the property industry into the innovative proptech industry.
