Emmanuel is a multimedia journalist and social entrepreneur. He is the show host of the popular podcast 'Unpacking Africa'. He is also one of the most impressive up n' coming young media individuals on the African continent. Emmanuel bagged himself a Harvard Business School Executive Education (SEPA), a Master of Management in Innovation Studies, at University of Witwatersrand. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Leadership & Photojournalism; notable alumnus, at University of Florida.
Upon his return to Africa, he became country manager of YouTube in Ghana and pursuing further academia in several prestigious African universities - before creating a show focusing on African culture, craft and technology. He worked as a journalist with global media alliance and a presenter for the MPwr Show at Yfm, where he covered stories on youth engagement culture and technology.
He is a member of the Advisory Council Co-Chair, Global Shapers, World Economic Forum. Emmanuel has been featured as a "Success Story Powered by the Web (Education)" Google Africa Connected. He's been decorated Best Male Blogger of the Year, Blogging & Social Media Awards. Formerly been at the Faculty of Entrepreneurial Leadership, African Leadership University (Mauritius campus); he is former Director for Digital and Design Innovation at the Impact Hub Accra/Broadcasting Board of Governors Innovation Lab in Accra. Emmanuel is an entrepreneur-in-Residence for EdTech start-up, Kanea at the Tshimologong Precinct in Johannesburg, South Africa and is the Founder and Managing Director of Urithi Labs, a research-intuitive outfit in Accra, Ghana, that uses innovation in media to educate, empower and employ on the African continent.
Emmanuel is consummate professional with over a decade of experience in youth engagement; digital & managerial innovation; entrepreneurship and leadership education. He is a true ambassador of Africa on a global level and believes firmly in African Culture being key to unlocking innovation in Africa.
