The investment will help Ingeek seek more development opportunities
Chinese supplier of intelligent and connected vehicles (ICV) systems Ingeek Technology (Chinese: 银基科技) has scored hundreds of millions of CNY in its Series B financing round led by PICC Capital and Tencent (0700:HK) recently, with the participation of CMBC Capital, Bojiang Capital and Beijing Zhuiyuan Venture Capital.
The proceeds would be mainly used for technology development and digital key service scenario exploration, among which the Intelligent Connection System (ICS) for Networking 3.0 would be at the core.
Founded in 2008, the Shanghai-based technological firm Ingeek specializes in IoT security services and is dedicated to the integrated research and development of software and hardware for intelligent and connected vehicles.
As one of the world’s leading suppliers of digital keys for automobiles, Ingeek has now secured orders for hundreds of new models, with cooperation of several top automakers. They include GAC Group (601238:SH), GWM (601633:SH) and Toyota Motor Group (TM:NYSE).
By the end of 2021, Ingeek has partnered with more than 30 OEMs and had over 70 models launched, occupying over 50% of the front-end market.
