Data computing for new discoveries
China’s data computing service provider OpenPie (Chinese: 拓数派) announced on June 23 the completion of its new strategic investment worth hundreds of millions of CNY.
Oriza PE (Chinese: 元禾重元) is the lead investor, followed by Soochow Securities (Chinese: 东吴证券).
Previously, OpenPie has received two consecutive angel round investments from a top fund, enabling the company to become a quasi-unicorn at its establishment.
OpenPie has launched its main product πCloudDB, a cloud database offering cloud data storage and computing engines with functions such as real-time processing, second scale capacity expansion, and integrated data analysis.
Ray Von, the company’s founder, also founder and CEO of Pivotal China, established OpenPie in 2021. The company aims to promote data computing at home and abroad and to help enterprises maximize the value of data.
OpenPie’s competitors include cloud service providers CanGo Networks, Platform9, ZQGame (Chinese: 中青宝), and Dr.Peng Group (Chinese: 鹏博士集团).
