Since the birth of the world's first SCARA robot in 1978, it has been favored for its compact structure, flexible movement, fast speed, and high positional accuracy. In 2016, SCARA robot began to usher in explosive development.

Over the years, the performance of domestic SCARA robots has improved significantly, and its gap with foreign-funded products is narrowing year by year. Some domestic products have reached or even exceeded similar products of foreign-funded brands in terms of load, speed, and repeat positioning accuracy.

Aiming at the opportunity of domestic substitution, Topstar (Chinese: 拓斯达), which has accumulated experience in the industry for 15 years, has entered the market strongly, and is committed to providing the industry with easy-to-use and high-performance robots, releasing TRH2 series (2-5KG), TRH5 series (5KG) in 2022 -10KG), TRH015 (15-25KG) three series of new SCARA products in 2022.

TRH2 series and TRH5 series have the characteristics of "high speed, high precision, stronger, easier to use, easier to maintain, and strong versatility".

At present, TRH2 series SCARA robots have been widely used in film pasting, testing, and labeling in the 3C industry, positioning and gluing in the packaging industry, sorting and testing in the medical industry, as well as new energy, auto parts manufacturing, 5G, optoelectronics, household appliances and other industries.

TRH5 series SCARA robots are used in screw locking and silk screen printing in the 3C industry, molding and assembly in the packaging industry, and handling and assembly in the medical industry.

In order to meet the application needs of the new energy industry, Topstar launches a new TRH015 series high-load SCARA robot. It can meet the application requirements of various process segments such as stacking and segment testing, loading and unloading, cell segment handling, assembly, as well as assembly, testing, module, chemical composition, and PACK assembly, basically covering the mainstream demand for SCARA robots in the lithium battery industry. In addition, the TRH015 series is equipped with a standard communication interface, which can meet the requirements of 3C, packaging, medical and other industry application requirements.

Since 2016, Topstar has formed strategic contracts with well-known brands. The company has sold and used more than 8,000 imported robots. Through cooperation with imported brands, it has mastered a large number of application scenarios. By fully understanding the real needs of the manufacturing industry, reversely defining products based on the needs, and then conducting self-research and self-production on body design, Topstar provides good products that the market really needs. As of December 2021, Topstar has established nearly 50 offices across the country, reaching more than 200,000 customers and serving more than 15,000 customers.
